How Custom Emails Work

XTRM’s system emails notify users or companies about completed tasks, often including links and references to xtrm.com for support. With our Custom Emails feature, you can personalize these notifications to align with your brand.

Adding Your Logo

Make your notifications even more impactful by adding your company logo. The logo will appear prominently in the top right corner of each email, ensuring that your brand is front and center. This feature not only boosts brand recognition but also adds a professional touch to your communications.

Areas of Customization

• Static Text Areas and Links: Highlighted in green below, these elements remain constant across all emails and can be configured in the settings.
• Variable Elements: Highlighted in red below, these parts can change with each payment submission, allowing you to customize each email based on specific payment details, whether via the UI, mass payment file submission, or the API.

Step-by-Step Guide to Customizing System Emails

1. Access Settings:
   • Click the settings cog or the ellipsis (three dots) in the top right corner of your screen.
2. Customize Emails:
   • Select the "Custom Emails" button.
   • This will take you to a screen where you can modify the email content to suit your branding needs.

System emails are divided into editable elements, ensuring that mandatory information such as regulatory details remains unchanged. This careful balance allows you to personalize your messages while maintaining compliance and providing necessary information.

Testing Your Custom Emails

Once you've customized your emails, you can test them by sending a sample to yourself. This ensures that all elements appear correctly and function as intended.

Mass Payment Files

When submitting mass payment files, inform us if you'd like to utilize the custom email feature. This ensures that all notifications sent in bulk reflect your desired customizations.
